In 2008 I completed the Swimathon Challenge, and swam 2.5km (100 lengths) of Barnet Copthall pool. Thanks to the generosity of my family, friends and colleagues I raised nearly £1000 for Marie Curie Cancer Care. I hope to match that achievement in 2010! I'm sure that like me, many of you have family or friends who have suffered from this dreadful illness.
